INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Collaborate for 2024 Trading Card Series

As the 2024 INDYCAR season approaches, race fans are in for a treat with a brand-new series of trading cards. INDYCAR has announced a three-year partnership with Parkside Cards to launch the INDYCAR Collection, which promises to enhance the race weekend experience for fans through collectibles, contests, and giveaways.

The collaboration between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards is set to launch on March 1, just in time for the start of the racing season. Fans will have access to the trading cards at race events, in retail stores, and online. Parkside Cards has planned various initiatives to engage fans, including redemption cards for signed memorabilia and a contest offering a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500.

Parkside Cards, known for its card collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding its portfolio with this motorsport partnership. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, will contain 20 packs with eight cards each, ensuring that each box includes two autographed cards. Retail hanger packs, on the other hand, will feature 25 cards, including an autographed card in every 18th pack.

One unique offering within the INDYCAR Collection is the relic cards, which contain actual brick pieces from the prestigious Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This adds a tangible piece of racing history to fans’ collections and further enhances the value of the trading cards. The base set of the collection consists of 162 cards, accompanied by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set. The collection also includes thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. Autographs from 27 different drivers will be available, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels amplifying the collectibility of the series.

Mark Miles, the President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his excitement for the partnership and emphasized the significance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with the sport’s stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR card series will provide fans with a dynamic way to engage with the personalities and talents within the sport.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes are already underway, building anticipation for the upcoming racing season, which kicks off in St. Petersburg, FL, on March 10. This partnership between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks an exciting development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike. The series not only offers a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing but also brings fans closer to the action, allowing them to own a piece of racing history through these trading cards. So, be prepared to rev up your collection and join in on the excitement of the INDYCAR Collection by Parkside.
